In December 2019, I had the privilege of joining Cooperative Business Assistance Corporation (CBAC) as a Commercial Loan and Technical Assistance Officer. In this new role, I will deposit my 30+ years of experience in the non-profit, for-profit, and Federal government to assist small businesses in reaching their financing and technical assistance needs. Before joining CBAC, I spent ten years in the banking industry where I helped small businesses in the Philadelphia Metropolitan Area access the funding needed to advance their business operations.
By leveraging my extensive experience building relationships within the public and private sectors I look forward to assisting many of my previous clients in addition to new clients I will meet while in my new role at CBAC. Most recently, I held a short 13-month tenure with the U.S. Census Bureau (my third tour: Census 2000, Census 2010 and Census 2020) affording me a unique, informed view of demographics.
Over the years, I have served as a member of several professional and civic non-profit organizations such as Save Our Waterfront in my hometown neighborhood of North Camden, the Camden County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the Camden City Chamber of Commerce, the Cramer Hill Development Corporation, the New Jersey Academy for Aquatic Sciences (now known as the Center for Aquatic Sciences) and others. Currently, I serve as Secretary of the Executive Board of Esperanza in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
